Maybank users, please be aware! Recently, a fake Maybank website appear online, causing a Malaysian man to lose a large sum of his savings.
According to the man’s post on Facebook, he suddenly want to check the money in his account last Saturday. He took out his computer, typ “Maybank” on Google, and directly click on the first search result without paying attention to the difference in the URL.
He said the fake website look exactly like the real one,
So he had no doubt he had fallen into Portugal Phone Number List a trap. When he enter his login information, the website did not let him log in directly, but instead sent a TAC code to his mobile phone via SMS.
He fill it in without hesitation, and that’s when he finally realiz something was wrong. When he check his balance on the Maybank App on his phone, he found that a sum of money had been transferr out. But before he could take a screenshot, the App said the account was invalid.

Later, when he contact Maybank’s customer service, he was told that his deposit of several thousand ringgit had been transferred to a certain website without his knowlge.
The customer service staff also advised him Book Your List to immiately block his bank card and Maybank2u account to avoid further loss of deposits. Unfortunately, the tragy has already happen, as the deposit has been fully remitted to a third-party website and cannot be recover.
He has now reported the case to the police, hoping that no other victims will fall into the trap. At the end of the post, he attached photos of the real and fake Maybank websites, asking everyone to carefully look at the difference before logging in.
