The heavy browsing graph shows that all clients stayed below 300ms at all times, which is perfectly normal. We don’t want latency to exceed 1.5 seconds. I then ran the same test, but simulated 4K streaming traffic instead of 1080p.

And as expected, two clients barely stayed below 100ms 75% of the time, this limit and even almost reached 250ms 1% of the time. Not good. In this case, we need to put some clients on the 6 GHz network and/or connect several of them.

The intensive browsing graph shows that all clients stayed below 400ms, which is again acceptable performance. Moving forward, we changed things up a bit and simulated a continuous download of a 10MB file on two client phone number list devices.

Two handled heavy browsing, and one handled 4K streaming. Neither download client was particularly impressive, but one stayed below 100ms 95% of the time, which I honestly didn’t expect. The 4K streaming client didn’t do very well, but the heavy browsing clients stayed below the 1.5s limit. Total throughput for the download clients was 516.3Mbps.

After that, I enabled one client to handle download traffic, two to handle 4K streaming, and two to handle heavy web browsing.

And latency has actually how brands use pinterest successfully improved, but I suspect no one will be happy downloading anything when latency is over 200ms. 4K streaming latency was over 100ms on both clients, which isn’t great, but the browsing-heavy clients did well.

Next, I limited the number of clients to three, one for download traffic, one for 4K streaming, and one for heavy browsing. And the latency is a little better than before, but we’re still not there, so let’s download a 1MB file this time and fresh list replace the 4K streaming with VoIP. That’s it. We’re finally getting decent performance, so the takeaway is that you really need to set some tight QoS limits, spread clients across networks, and use cable when possible for better performance.
